About

Understanding your money shouldn't cost your privacy

We're building the money app we wanted for ourselves — private, global, and genuinely clear.

Our mission: give everyone a clear, private picture of their money — without asking for the keys to their bank.

What kept bothering us

Money apps open by asking for your bank login. And once they're in, they silently auto-tag your spending — quietly getting a good chunk of it wrong. You end up trusting numbers you can't check.

What we did instead

TrackYourPenny reads the statement you already download — no credentials, ever. Your rules do the routine sorting, and anything unclear becomes a one-tap question rather than a silent guess.

Underneath sits a proper double-entry ledger, so your totals always reconcile — and a chat assistant that answers from those real numbers instead of inventing them. We're starting in India, tuned for rupees, UPI and festival budgets, and rolling out worldwide from there.

What we value

The principles we build by

Privacy first

We'd rather ask you to upload a file than ask for your bank password. That constraint shapes every feature.

AI that assists, never overrides

The assistant makes you faster; it never makes decisions for you. You confirm anything that touches your data.

Clarity over dashboards

Not a wall of charts. A clear answer to 'where did my money go, and am I okay?'

Honest about what's real

We tell you plainly what's shipped and what's still being built. No vapourware in the marketing.

Our team

The people behind it

A small group who built this the careful way — every role below reflects what they actually shipped.

Roadmap

Where we are, where we're going

  1. Now · beta

    Free early access, India-first

The full product is free while we're in beta — tuned for rupees, UPI and festival budgets.

  2. Next

    Worldwide rollout

Region-aware currency and banks so it works cleanly wherever you are.

  3. Then

    Pro plan

Higher AI limits, multi-account and family sharing, advanced reports — Free stays genuinely useful.

  4. Later

    Deeper insights

Richer forecasting and goals, guided by what early users actually ask for.

I wanted to see where my own money went without handing my bank login to yet another app. Nothing did it well, so I built this — a trustworthy core with an assistant that helps but never takes over.

It's early and free; your feedback shapes what comes next.
